BestPost is a community-run parcel and Shop & Ship service between Canada and Moldova. This note explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you book a parcel, register for Shop & Ship, or contact us, we collect the details needed to provide the service: your name and contact details (phone, email), the recipient's name, phone, and address in Moldova, and information about the items being shipped. We don't ask for anything we don't need.
Why we use it
We use your information only to arrange and deliver your shipment, prepare customs paperwork, keep you updated, and reply to your messages — usually over phone, WhatsApp, or email.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it's required to move your parcel: postal and courier partners, and customs authorities in Canada and Moldova. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep shipment and contact records only as long as needed to run the service and meet legal and customs obligations, then remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Just get in touch and we'll take care of it.
Traffic analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service, to understand how the site is used. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other sites, and collects no personal data — only aggregate, anonymous statistics.
